Restorative Justice League has so much to offer than what it seems to be on the surface. You might be thinking, "Ok, so it's another non-profit after school program. Big deal, what makes them different from all the other ones that exist out there?" Well, I would incline you to take a look at the services that we offer.
We offer peer-to-peer opportunities to peacemaking processes in order to provide conflict resolution with the students and all parties involved. Students learn how to provide advocacy, leadership, and staff support to mentor the success of their peers.
As well, we also offer community building that creates safe inclusive circle spaces and enhances group dynamics through relationship building.
Everyone who participates will develop skill sets to support healthy and productive interactive communication skills, and emotional awareness. We do this by providing expressions of empathy, compassion, repair harm, and mindfulness through restorative and trauma informed resolutions.
Last but not least, we offer collaborative youth driven, youth lead experiences for middle school and high school students. We train in restorative safe circle spaces to dialogue with peers on engaging conference speakers and workshop topics that are relative and transformational. Our conferences are developed to impact school culture and climate in positives ways.
